Happy Birthday Cambrie

Happy Birthday Cambrie!! We can't believe you are turning three today. We wish we were there to give you a big hug and say happy birthday, but we'll have to settle for this until the next time we see you!! Miya has been singing happy birthday to you all day...she really does know your name, it's just a matter of focusing...sorry about that! We pray the Lord will bless you with many more birthday's in the future. We love you all the way around the world and back again!

Date Night

This past Friday we had a family date night. We haven't gone out with just the four of us in a very long time. I told Miya Friday morning that we were going to have a date with daddy and she was sooo excited all day (the reason I waited until Friday). She kept asking questions about it all day because she was clueless as to what a date was! In the car on the way to Grandville she kept asking (every minute) "are we going to our date?". She thought it was an actual place. We all had a blast together. Life can get so busy so quickly. We were very thankful to have an evening we could all enjoy together before Jeff's busy season begins.

Miya kept wanting to sit in this "cool chair". They are reading the books mom picked out to start getting ideas for a new house...someday in the not-so-distant future.

Playing Kitchen

Once the camera comes out the girls turn into differnt people. While trying to take a picture, Jayden insists on crawling away and when she is looking at the camera Miya is not. When I try to video them, Miya thinks she has to act like Jayden. She only does that when the video camera comes out. Go figure. Now you know the reason I don't have a lot of pictures. Jadyden's scrapbook is going to be very bare...once I start it!

You'll notice who is ALWAYS MOVING in the three shots!! We never thought we would have a child more active than Miya was!! How wrong we were!!

Coloring

Miya loves to color. This video is of her coloring with Dad. She wanted to color the picture white but the white didn't work, "It's broken" is what she said before we were able to get the camera out. "This crayon doesn't work, agh!". Once we got the camera out she wouldn't say it again (imagine that) but she did decide the crayons needed batteries. So I guess we need to get some new white crayons or a bunch of batteries to make them work!

Wake-Up

Here is a video from February when we stayed over night in Shipsee. Dad was taking a little nap by the pool and Jeff and Tyler decided it was time for him to wake up. You'll notice that Dan is not in the picture, he was watching from the hot tub! I think he was afraid Dad would wrestle him to the ground since he's not part of the family...yet! CHICKEN!!

Some Pictures

Aaaah! All parts of our computer are up and running, finally. The internet is an amazing thing. I was able to download a program for word, excel, powerpoint, etc for free (I lost our microsoft cd and didn't want to pay another $150 for a new one). I also lost our printer cd so our printer would not print because it wouldn't install, so once again I went online and was able to download something that made my printer work (for free again). You probably noticed two things, I hate to pay twice for things, and I'm not very organized when it comes to keeping computer cd's around. Learn from my mistakes, keep all the cd's you EVER load onto your computer together in a safe place (where you will remember where you put them), you never know when you may need them again.

The girls are doing well. Jayden has an ear infection in her other ear now and it ruptured on Sunday at church. As soon as we walked into the Dr. office on Monday she started screaming. She does not like going to the Dr. It's not because of the shots either, she hasn't had any since her 6 month checkup. The appointment did not go so well emotionally, she has never cried harder. On the up-side, she was very cuddly with me and actually fell asleep in my arms (a first). I will try to take some current pictures over the next few days to post. I will also post some old videos of the girls.

We're Back

Hello everyone....we're back... unofficially. I say unofficially because I do not have access to my pictures yet....YET! I'm currently trying to download a program that will open them. I have missed seeing every one's blogs over the past month, however I have also realized how much more I can get accomplished in a day without the Internet. That being said, I also realized how dependent I have become on the Internet; communication, coupons, information, news, and most importantly right now as our tax day is QUICKLY approaching...book work for our business!! Thankfully we have our computer and Internet back....now I just have to figure out how to open all of my word and excel files!

The girls are almost back to 100% healthy. They both had their first ear infection at the same time (the first that I know of). I feel sorry for all of the kiddos out there that have ear infections regularly, what a painful thing to experience. The Lord has blessed our children with great health thus far and I need not take that for granted. I will post again when I can add some pictures....hopefully soon!
