Good Day!

Sorry, sorry, sorry. We know everyone is wondering what is going on over here. Melanie is having a wonderful day, which means mom and dad are too!! Jeff had a huge surprise when he saw Melanie this morning. Her eyes were open! Yeah!! He took a picture on his phone but mommy is anxiously awaiting to see it for herself...and to take a digital picture. After care time this morning, Jeff came back to the hotel (thank you everyone that took part in that)to swim with the girls for awhile. They all had fun. When we got back to the hospital we had another surprise. Little Miss Melanie was off her ventilator and on C-Pak (I'll get the real name and what it stands for for tonight's blog...I forgot). She is doing well with it! She also has been digesting her food which is a good sign. We are so proud of her and how hard she is fighting right now. We also know that this is all happening according to God's plan. He gave Melanie a good day today. We are so thankful for that and we will treasure EVERY minute of this good day with her, praising God for it. We'll try to post again tonight with some pictures (I seem to have lost my hook-up cable.
